Manuel Gómez-Navarro is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in education, digital content creation, and research within the realm of Digital Humanities. He currently serves as an Adjunct Spanish Instructor at Boise State University, Idaho, and simultaneously operates as the Creative Director of his own venture, 360topia, a company he founded. Dr. Gómez-Navarro earned his PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, specializing in Spanish and Latin American Literature. He also holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Córdoba in Spain.

His scholarly pursuits encompass a wide array of interests, such as Contemporary Spanish fiction, contemporary fiction from the Southern Cone, explorations of memory representations in post-dictatorship contexts, Spanish-language cinema, Digital Arts, and the intersections of politics and culture.

In addition to his roles in academia and research, Manuel has a particular expertise in developing projects that express and disseminate Hispanic culture. He maintains a deep commitment to Digital Humanities, where he currently focuses on integrating virtual reality into educational settings and curating cultural initiatives for the general public. In these multimedia projects, he skillfully combines a range of digital elements, including 360-degree photos, videos, hyperlinks, 2D imagery, and 3D objects, to create immersive and enriching learning experiences.

In 2021, Manuel established 360topia, a multimedia undertaking dedicated to crafting 360 virtual tours for educational purposes and cultural promotion and preservation.

His outstanding contributions to education have not gone unnoticed, as he has been honored with several accolades, including The Boise State University Adjunct of the Year Award (2022-2023), The Boise State University College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct of the Year Award (2022-2023), and The Boise State University World Languages Department Teaching Award (2022-2023).​
