Manuel Gómez-Navarro is a Adjunct of Spanish at Boise State University, ID. He received a PhD from the University of California, Davis in Spanish Literature. He holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Córdoba, Spain.
His research interests include Contemporary Spanish fiction, South Cone contemporary fiction, representations of memory in post-dictatorship, films in Spanish, and politics and culture.
Together with teaching and research, Manuel specializes in developing projects for the expression and dissemination of the Hispanic culture. He also has a deep interest in Digital Humanities, currently working in the use of virtual reality in the classroom.
On 2021, he founded 360topia, a multimedia project to create virtual tours for education and cultural promotion/preservation.
